1. Title: Kotlin Programming Language (Kotlin.jvm)

2. Speaker: John Fernandez

3. Bio: Tech enthusiast who loves learning about new technologies, currently works on Big Data Normalisation and Analytics. Loves solving puzzles and difficult to solve problems are always welcomed. Works extensively on Python, Java, Kotlin.

4. Target Audience: This talk invites participation from individuals with experience and/or interest in learning about Kotlin, or have been trying to switch from Java from Kotlin but haven't been able to.

1. Title: Manticore Search (A full text search engine)

Open source text search engine for big data and stream filtering, Indexing and searching over hundreds of terabytes of data, search results grouping and faceting.

2. Speaker: Vishnu

3. Bio: A year ago Vishnu came accross Python which made his life interesting. Though he is scared of snakes, he got smitten by "Python". His daily routine is indexing and managing big data using Manticore Search.

4. Target Audience: Basic knowledge of any SQL query language

1. Title: Introduction to iOS Application development using native frameworks.

Demonstrating how easy and cool it is to build a mobile application for iOS platform. Session involves advantages of using native frameworks for building smooth interface with high level user experience.

2. Speaker: Ashish Alva

3. Bio: My daily routine involves coding for mobile applications, project management, technical chit-chat with co-workers and mentoring newbies. I give high priority to code structuring, quality and its beautification. Currently giving a try for advanced architectural patterns in iOS development.

2. Name: Augustine Correa

Who am I? is not just a philosophical retort but a core underpinning for securing a modern app. In this session, we will traverse through open standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML which will lay the groundwork on how one’s go about securing Node.js based API endpoints and access based workflows. To round it off, we will justify why in the cloud era, its best to go with a SaaS product like Auth0.

Progressive Web Apps use modern web capabilities to deliver an app-like user experience. They evolve from pages in browser tabs to immersive, top-level apps, maintaining the web's low friction at every moment.

I will be speaking about, Introduction to PWA, Web app manifest file, Web app installation, Service workers, Web push notifications.

3. Bio: Front-end Developer with 7 years of professional experience designing, developing, and managing complex websites, web apps, and hybrid apps. Specializes in React.Js, Angular and responsive design.

4. Target Audience: Basics of HTML, CSS, Javascript/ES6, Ajax request/response, Webpack.

1. Title: API development put on steroids

Do have anything to do with API's? This is the right place to learn how to streamline and standardise it! We're gonna talk about how to design, document, and generate SDK's for your API's and your users without writing a single piece of code. Tools: Swagger editor, Swagger UI and Swagger Codegen

2. Name: Karthik Bhat

3. Bio: When it comes to building API's, Karthik is the go-to-guy in UniCourt. With the help of Swagger, he has streamlined the API development life-cycle and provided the ability for his dev-team to seamlessly design, document, and test API's and his users to integrate with easily. Karthik is currently a Team Lead in UniCourt.

1. Title: App Modernization - Building Infra Agnostic Applications the Cloud Way

Google Cloud provides developers a platform to write and deploy code beyond instances or VM's and it is not complex. This session explores the journey of an application from running in a single instance, to be deployed in a resilient instance group and finally completing the journey as a container in Kubernetes. In turn, the desired nature of an Agnostic Cloud-native application is understood. Thorugh the journey we also explore the outsourcing of responsibility to a managed service, also using a serverless tech on demand and adding an alert using the cloud monitoring tool.

2. Name: Suhan Shetty

3. Bio: Suhan Shetty is a Senior Cloud Architect at Niveus Solutions and collaborates with enterprises for their Application and Infrastructure Modernization Journey. As a Cloud practitioner, he works extensible with companies to assess - rebuild - optimize their current solutions and Products for Cloud. He has assisted several clients from various sectors from BFSI to Travel to adopt Cloud as a Strategy. As a company, they are recognized by Google Cloud Platform as experts in "Modernization of Existing Application" and "Custom Built App Migration".

4. Target Audience: Beginner programmer in any language

1. Title: CI/CD of your application using Jenkins to your Kubernetes cluster.

Automating the builds of the docker image and deploying to the kubernetes cluster using the power of Jenkins pipelines. Ever wanted to deploy your applications when your code gets merged to your git repository this is the perfect talk to attend.

2. Name: Amit Thapa

3. Bio: Amit Thapa is a Software Engineer at Unicourt India. He is passionate about learning new technologies. He specialises in Python, Docker, Kubernetes and is currently inquisitive about automated servers using Jenkins.

4. Target Audience: Technology enthusiasts who would like to automate their deployments. DevOps experience would be a plus.

1. Title: Decentralizing finance using blockchain

We deal with finance in our day to day life in one way or the other. Yet, not everyone can leverage all the facilities provided by financial institutions. There are a lot of hurdles and delays when we deal with traditional banking services. In this talk, we will explore how blockchain is transforming traditional financial services into an efficient, open and decentralized finance protocol. Talk highlights: Introduction to Bitcoin and DLT platforms Introduction to open finance Stable coin protocol Lending protocol Blockchain in enterprise finance

2. Name: Koshik Raj

3. Bio: Koshik Raj holds a Master's degree in Computer Science & Information Security. He has a demonstrated history of working in RSA and CoWrks, Bangalore. He is a certified blockchain instructor for https://amityonline.com. He has authored a book on blockchain technology titled: Foundations of Blockchain (http://author.koshikraj.com/)

4. Target Audience: Basic knowledge of Bitcoin, finance and distributed computing (No coding in the talk).

1. Title: Python Debugging and Profiling

Are debugging skills important to become a good programmer? This talk will walk you through debugging your python application. Also includes measuring the resource and time consumption of your python script.

2. Name: Vineet Lasrado

3. Bio: Started his career in Python, Django and MySQL. Likes to build API's and Webhooks. Also interested in scraping data from websites. Hobbies include console gaming, playing cricket and listening to music. Also like taking initiatives to conduct events.

4. Target Audience: Technology enthusiasts who are interested in learning how to use a debugger in python and also profile python scripts in terms of Memory and Time.

1. The meetup is free and open to all technology enthusiasts ONLY. Recruiters and entrepreneurs who are looking to hire, please excuse, this is a purely technical event. Ours is a community run meetup.


2. Its mandatory for all those who are attending to get the tickets for the sessions they intend to attend.[Soft copy is preferrable...a QR code + 2 barcode will be generated for you when you buy a ticket]


3. DO NOT issue tickets if you are not sure of attending. If you get tickets issued and do NOT attend, you go into our blacklist which will be to your disadvantage for ALL our future meetups


4. Please watch out for changes in schedule. We will communicate with you on the email provided during registeration.


5. Right of admissions reserved. Since we have limited seats, we want to ensure the correct audience partakes in the individual sessions. Hence its vital you fill up the relevant boxes on various technologies while registering.


6. There is a break but we do not serve food. Its more of a biobreak and coffee time. Why? See last statement of point 1 above :-)
